  • Did you know that those pretty yellow weeds in your yard are (provided you're skipping the pesticide treatment) totally edible? Well they are, and flower children everywhere have been steeping them in hot water to make yummy dandelion tea for forever, but we decided to see what happened with a little moonshine in the mix. Take 3 cups of freshly washed dandelion flowers (remove the green bits. These are also edible but will become bitter over time). Place in jar and fill with moonshine. Add 2 tbsp honey and stir well. Store in cool, dry place for 3 weeks, shaking daily. Serve with or without flower garnish according to taste.
