  • Unlike the more common apple pie brandy and moonshine recipes, this drink forgoes spices and sweeteners to highlight the flavors of juniper and fresh apple. Cut 3 crisp, green apples and 2 yellow apples into thin slices and add to jar. Fill with gin and store in a cool, dry place for 4 weeks. Serve straight with apple slices for garnish or use as a base for apple-flavored cocktails.
