Tugay Kerimoğlu, commonly known as Tugay, is a former Turkish professional footballer who is widely regarded as one of the most talented and influential midfielders to emerge from Turkey. He won several domestic titles with the club, including:

• two Scottish Premier League titles (1998, 1999);
• two Scottish Cups (1999, 2000);
• and two Scottish League Cups (1997, 1999).

In 2001, Tugay joined English Premier League club Blackburn Rovers, a move that would leave an indelible mark on both his career and the club’s history. Under the management of Graeme Souness, Tugay’s exceptional performances in midfield helped Blackburn Rovers secure promotion to the Premier League in the 2000-2001 season.
