Gin, Lavender, Marjoram, Thyme
This drink has a bright, fresh flavor completely unlike the bottle of dried generic herbs sitting on your local grocery shelf. Add to the jar 4 sprigs of dried lavender and a handful each of roughly chopped marjoram and thyme. Cover with gin and store in a cool, dry place for at least 4 weeks. The final flavors will be crisp and slightly floral. This makes for a nice drink on the rocks but can also be used as a base for other gin based cocktails such as the French 75.
