Born in North Hollywood and raised in Northridge, CA, Desert Dan Whitney has been playing guitar and singing since he was seven years old. In the mid-1990s, he added harmonica to his performance repertoire. Skilled in performing country and classic rock with cover bands, such as Howlin Alan, Dans real love is songwriting. He started composing songs when he was 19, and now he has over 25 original compositions and is working on recording his debut album Plateau. Original songs include Angel Eyes, Someday, and Wine Cellar. Bands
